17 Point Inspection Report

1. Inspect for a proper overhang at the gutters and eaves.

2. Inspect for correct installation of starters and the number of layers.

3. Inspect all plumbing pipe boots for dry rot, cracks and deterioration.

4. Inspect chimney and skylight flashings for proper seal and installation.

5. Inspect chimney brick and rock for water tight tuck point and cap problems.

6. Inspect all valleys for wear, cracks, installation and deterioration problems.

7. Inspect swamp cooler for a water tight seal and any damage.

8. Inspect all heat stacks for proper installation, storm collar seal and rust.

9. Inspect wall flashing for proper installation and that it is sealed correctly.

10. Inspect roof for missing shingles, improper fastened shingles, high nails, curled and deteriorated shingles.

11. Inspect for hail damage which includes impact bruising, granulation loss, and missing pieces.

12. Inspect all vents and calculate proper attic ventilation.

13. Inspect gutters and downspouts for blockage, proper drainage and damage.

14. Inspect attic intake vents for blockage.

15. Inspect drip edge at the eave and rake for proper installation.

16. Inspect fascia, rake and soffit materials for damage and rot.

17. Inspect interior of house and attic for moisture and dry rot.
