Hail Damage Found During Roof Inspection in Goodnight Pueblo

We were called out to a home in the Goodnight neighborhood of Pueblo, Colorado for a residential roof inspection. What we found was pretty clear once we got up there - hail damage on the roofing system.

Here's the thing about hail damage: it doesn't always announce itself. A lot of homeowners have no idea their roof took a hit until water starts showing up inside the house. By that point, the problem has already gotten bigger and more expensive. That's exactly why inspections like this matter.

Pueblo gets hammered by hail more than most people realize. Southern Colorado storms can drop significant hail fast, and the impact damage left behind isn't always obvious from the ground. Granule loss, cracked or bruised shingles, damaged flashing - these are the kinds of things we're trained to look for, and they're easy to miss without a trained eye.

When we document hail damage properly, it opens the door for homeowners to work with their insurance carrier on a legitimate claim. Getting that documentation right from the start makes a big difference in how the process goes. We don't just eyeball it - we assess the damage thoroughly so the homeowner has something solid to work with.

If your home is in the Pueblo area and you haven't had your roof looked at after a recent storm, it's worth getting someone up there. Damage that goes unaddressed has a way of compounding over time.
