Most homeowners don't think about their roof until there's already a problem. A leak shows up, a shingle goes missing after a storm, or the ceiling starts showing water stains. By that point, what could have been a minor fix has usually turned into something much bigger. That's exactly why we do inspections like this one.

We were out on the North Side of Pueblo for a residential roof inspection on a single-story brick home. This part of town has a solid mix of older homes that have held up well over the years - but that doesn't mean the roofs get a free pass. Age, sun exposure, and Colorado's wind and hail events all take a toll over time, sometimes in ways you can't see from the ground.

Getting up on a roof and doing a real inspection means checking everything - shingles, flashing, ridge lines, vents, and any areas where water might pool or penetrate. We're not just eyeballing it from the driveway. A thorough inspection gives homeowners a clear picture of where things stand, what needs attention now, and what can wait.

Pueblo's climate is no joke when it comes to roofing. Hot summers, freeze-thaw cycles in winter, and the occasional hailstorm mean roofs here take a beating from multiple directions. Catching small issues early is almost always cheaper and less stressful than dealing with the aftermath of a neglected roof.
